Publishing a book and laying it on the altar of public opinion wasn’t quite terrifying enough, so I decided to submit the manuscript to a competition! Two, actually, both for independent authors.
BIBA (Best Indie Book Award) and
Next Generation Book Awards.
BIBA gets announced December 30th of this year, the Next Gen competition is sometime next year.
I am hoping that (if nothing else) the competition will generate a buzz. But who knows? Maybe Ron Howard, Robert Redford, or M. Night Shyamalan may come calling.
