A Mercedes, a Harley, and a Horse

My second novelette.  The story is nearly finished, with just a few gaps to fill in.  I’ll share pieces of it with my readers as soon as it is ready, too.

The Summary:  A college football failure struggles throughout life for wealth and prestige via drug sales, barely surviving the life, eventually finding redemption where he least expected it.

The Gateway Arch dominated the view behind him.  The CEO of World Bank droned from the speaker phone.  A $40 million dollar deal lay on his desk.  His wife and kids occupied his Ladue mansion.  And best of all, his secretary occupied the space between his legs.  He was a god and he knew it.  His grin had little to do with his secretary’s talents.  He leaned back, closed his eyes and recalled how it all began.
