Electric – EDP

• monthly costs range from about 40 euros in August to around 150 euros in January/February
• with EDP, we also include their Functiona service for equipment checkups – 7.90 euro/month included in bill
• we had our ‘potencia’ set at xxx for the last 2 years, but increased it one level to xxx this past month with the cold snap
• we use the contract style: monthly, simple, without cycle, potencia (Jan, 2021) set to 5.75 KVA (we were at 4.6 KVA for the last 2 years, but popped the breakers this month with the cold snap)

Gas – Galp

• monthly costs range from 20 euros in October to 50 in the Spring
• the cooktop runs on gas

Internet & 2 cell phones – Vodafone

• around 65-80 euro/month
• internet to apartment ‘net’ around 25 euro/month, 100/100 service level
• first cell phone is around 23/month, secondary adds another 12 euros
• we are on a 2 year contract

Water – Agere

• fairly constant 20-30 euros/month

Energy Rating

Our official energy certification was created Nov 30, 2010, and expired Nov 30, 2020. By law, we must have another engineer re-certify the energy rating. Tricky in the time of COVID and restrictions. This is delaying the official listing.

Our certification on the expired certificate was D.
